Home Page General
Go to Pages > All Pages > Homepage. Click to Edit it.
- Look at the WordPress Settings – click the Gear icon – in the upper right.
- Click Document (not Block) just below the Gear icon.
- Near the bottom is Page Attributes and Template. The template selected should already be “No Sidebar Wide.”
- This template is best to use when you want to use a full-width content on a page, but you can choose other templates, if you like.
To Edit the Features Section
Note that if you lose the Features section, you can add it from the Block Patterns:
- Three Columns Text with Icons and Buttons
The Features is inside a Group Block. (Review WordPress Blocks, but there is no tutorial on Group Block yet.)
Group Block Settings:
- At the top:
- Alignment is Wide Width
Inside the Group Block, add:
- Heading Block - H2, Align text center
- Paragraph Block - Align text center
- Spacer Block - 60px
- Columns Block - choose 3 columns
Columns Block Settings
- At the top:
- Alignment is Wide Width
- Vertical alignment is Vertically Align Top
- In the sidebar:
- 3 Columns in the slider
Inside Each Column
- Custom HTML Block
- Paragraph Block
- Buttons Block (Buttons currently does not have a tutorial, but is similar to Button.)
Custom HTML Block
This block adds the Font Awesome Icons.
To use Font Awesome:
- Go to Font Awesome Icons.
- Click on the one you want to use - for instance, Address Book in the top row.
- Click to copy the HTML
- Paste it into the Custom HTML Block in each column.
Paragraph Block
- Choose Align Text Center
- Bold the top line, if desired.
Buttons Block
- Choose Align Center
- Add 1 Button. Change the Text and Link on the button
Blocks After the Features Section
- Spacer Block - 30px
- Separator Block - Wide Line
Click the Update button on the right when finished.
